What is a first generation Pet, Divine Essence?

A first generation pet, Divine Essence is a lovely pet that follows a player.
When your pet evolves to the second generation, it will fight with you. However, your pet can't fight when it's still a first generation pet.
- You can obtain a Divine Essence by having "Sealed Box" items which are available in ancient towers.
- Divine Essence is treated as an item and uses one space in your inventory window.
- You can summon a pet using a Divine Essence, but if you use it again, your pet will return to your inventory.
- You can only summon one pet at any one time.
- There is no limit to how many Divine Essences you can have.
What is a second generation pet?

Once your pet evolves into a second generation pet, it can speak and fight alongside you.
However, the first generation pet, Divine Essence will just follow you.
These features become available when your pet evolves to the next generation
Your second generation pet will fight to help you.
- You can give your pet orders during combat with the monsters.
- Attack Type: Your pet will fight against any monster.
- Support Type: Basically, the pet doesn't attack at will and only attacks enemies which is targeted by the player.
- Defense Type: A pet doesn't attack at all and just follows the player.
- Setting your pet with an Attack Type command will attract and aggravate non active monsters in an area.
- A second generation pet will pick up items or game currency for you.
- A second generation pet will pick up items which have been abandoned by other players.
Your pet can be enhanced as your pet obtains more Fairy Points.
The Fairy Points of your second generation pet will increase by assisting you in defeating monsters.
* Fairy Points cannot be obtained by defeating monsters 10 levels lower than the player's level.
* Fairy Points cannot be obtained if your pet status is set to "Defense Type".
Your pet's Fullness Level will decrease little by little as it performs attacks or movements.
When it's Fullness Level reaches 0, the pet cannot attack or pick up items.
The pet's Fullness Level can be recovered by giving it "Pet Food" items.
You can buy "Pet Food" from the Supply Merchant.
A second generation pet has HP, and this will decrease when receiving attacks from monsters.
The second generation pet will be sealed away and its Fairy Points will decrease when it's HP reaches 0.
You can re-summon your the pet and its HP will be restored to 1.
You can recover the HP of a second generation pet by using the "Pet Potion" items.
You can buy the "Pet Potion" items from the Supply Merchant.
How to evolve your pet

A Divine Essence and a Pet Card are required to evolve your pet.
Pet Caretaker will combine the "Fragment" you collected to make a Pet Card for you. These "Fragment"items can be found in the ancient towers and will be dropped by monsters.
Combine Pet Card is always successful.
Combining a Divine Essence and the Pet Card will allow your pet to evolve.
The evolution process can fail. The pet card used will disappear when the evolution process fails, even though the Divine Essence will still be in your inventory.
About pet enhancement
To enhance your pet, you will require an "Enhancement Card" and a second generation pet. The Fairy Points of the second generation pet must be at it's maximum.
You cannot enhance if your pet hasn't reached the maximum amount of Fairy Points,
"Enhancement Card" items can be obtained from monsters in the ancient towers.
Go and talk to the Pet Caretaker in Holy Beast Castle Southtown. You can perform enhancements by placing the second generation pet and Enhancement Card onto the intended slots.
The Enhancement Card used will disappear when the enhancement process fails. However, your will not lose the second generation pet.
The Fairy Points of the second generation pet reduces to 0 if the enhancement fails.
Your pet's Ability and Level limit will be upgraded upon completing the enhancement and the second generation pet will learn a new skill.
Each second generation pet is allowed to be enhanced twice.
